About Our Organization
HIDIG Relief and Development Organization (HIDIG) is a non-governmental, non partisan, non-political, non-profit, impartial, voluntary organization operating in Southern central Somalia. It was established in Bakool region Elbarde District in 2000 by a group of highly motivated Somali professionals from Bakool and Hiraan regions and professionals from Somali Diaspora after they have been deeply touched by the devastating conflict and displacement of IDPs in southern Somalia.
